Summary of the role

The food and beverage team is instrumental in cultivating a personalized experience for our members and guests. As a supervisor of our Events department, this hands-on role will offer leadership to the staff during all banquets and events at the Club. You will work alongside with your colleagues and the culinary team to ensure food and beverage service runs smoothly and efficiently. Assisting the Banquet Manager in supervision, training, and execution of events will be a daily pleasure. Our team is highly motivated to ensure all guests receive the best service and an unforgettable experience each visit to Sunningdale. Your role has a direct impact on the success of all the life changing events we host at the Club.

20-40 hours a week
Be the driving force in leading the serving staff with setup, tear down, and execution of various events such as weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, and more.
Billing events for the necessary event expenses such as food and beverage, rented items, room fee, etc.
Ensure event success by monitoring service, staff, and the needs of guest at event and member dining area
Help serve and bartend in the member dining area for club events

Job Requirements

A hardworking and positive individual that can confidently organize a team of people
Experience using POS
Key holder/closing experience is a plus
Experience in serving, customer service, and hospitality field is a plus
Must have Smart Serve
Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
Available to work all hands-on deck days
Ability to lift 25-30 lbs

Experience: Prior event experience is required. Supervisory experience is an asset, but not a must. The following qualities are what we look for in every candidate.
